Digital IT Lead (Architect)

Overview:
As digital IT Architect for Greater China, you will own the overall digital solution blueprint and roadmap and work closely with Essilorluxottica Greater China business to articulate business problems and translate them into an appropriate digital solution design. You are an "agent of change", representing the architecture and working on safeguarding the integrity of our landscape throughout all the changes. Through the development cycle, you continuously strive to bridge between organizations, requirements, technologies, and target architecture.
You will have a strong digital, retail, e-commerce background with hands-on experience in defining strategy and planning, supporting, and implementing transactional digital platforms built on leading content and digital platforms. We are looking for experienced hires as well as architects who is ambitious to establish a digital team and want to progress in his/her career. You will be joining a dynamic and growing team, advising our business as they grow their business through the use of innovative technology solutions.
The focus of your role:
To work with Group IT team to shape and define solution architectures for Essilorluxottica greater China business, used to assess the business challenges and transform business requirements into technical solutions, with supporting project plans, detailed designs and informed technical risk analysis.
We work with our Essilorluxottica business from the earliest stages of a project, from ideation, assessment, through to delivery and ‘go live’. We provide technical leadership and support to the IT Business Partner or Project Manager, as a trusted digital IT advisor.
Mission:
• Take end-to-end ownership of shaping solutions & defining the right architectural approach for Greater China business.
• Work on some of the most leading-edge cloud-native and hybrid architectures in development today.
• Understand and translate requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal, and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables, and delivery as a Technical Leader
• Work closely with global subject matter experts to plan and create a compelling and innovative solution that can be delivered
• Collaborate closely with our Group/Regional IT Leads to create a compelling and innovative solution that can be delivered, ensuring our solutions are built to reflect your vision and make the best use of current development practices.
• Maintain technical relationships with our technology partners.
• Continually develop your architecture skills through training, internal and industry certifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in related field - IT, Computer Science, MIS, MBA (Master Degree Preferred)
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Architect in the digital environment. As much as possible, digital experience in the PM related to CRM, CDP, Data Lake would be appreciated.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail and documentation.
Technical skills (basic level):
• Project Management skills
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
o Proven skilled in establishing priorities
• Good command in English (writing and verbal)
Environments:
• 80% International (English for Email, Meetings).
• Location: shanghai
• Duration: 6 months renewable.
• Start date asap.
