•Partner with PD to evaluate the capability and capacity of new suppliers on various aspects based on category requirements. •Establish and maintain supplier relations through direct or delegated contacts. •Ability to travel to industry trade shows and factories as needed. •Work with all regulatory and testing organizations, as needed, to ensure product complies with customer and/or US regulations. •Work closely with Product Development and Design teams to plan product ranges by category. •Collaborate with PD to drive prices that are favorable to the market. •Work with suppliers/manufacturers to negotiate pricing. • Ensure product quality is meeting desired specifications. • Follow up closely on the production process to avoid any quality issues and delays. •Ability to analyze sales to come up with new, exciting, next generation products. •Responsible for coordinating samples with the suppliers, PD, and Design team from the development stage to final approval. •Must be organized and detail oriented. •Must be able to work independently. •Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment. •Would be nice to have a good understanding of products and styles of the US market. • Experience in Soft and Hardgoods a plus. •Current categories for this role would include, but are not limited to Pet, Electronics, Storage, Accent Furniture, Wall Art/Décor, Wall Organizers, Holiday, Planters, Frames, Fitness, Hydration, Lighting, Beach, and Juvenile product. •Strong verbal and written communication skills. •Must speak English. • 5+ years of Sourcing and Merchandising experience in consumer products 在家办公。
