ABOUT THE FOUNDER
As a sophisticated language teacher with his teaching career from 2001, Mr. Zhang Chixin was one of the first 5 teachers in Shanghai New Oriental School, China’s biggest Edu group. Till 2014, Mr. Zhang had been reputed as one of the most honorable teachers in NOS within 2 decades. His striking achievements in the management of the Commonwealth Department of SHNOS from 2010 to 2014, not only enlightened his career to a new level, but made him ponder over the pragmatism in language education. With an aim to elevating students’ learning efficiency with perseverance, Mr. Zhang started his working studio, derived from the methodology of Chinese saints and maestros but with a contemporary delicate decorative style. According to the meaning of Chinese characters, ‘JIU’ means ‘the summit’ and ‘WO’ symbolizes the importance of concerted efforts. JIUWO entails the collaboration of students, parents, teachers, TAs, superintendents and the CEO to interpret the authentic meaning of ‘success’.
