Position: Office Manager Location: Shanghai Reporting to: Creative Director Job Summary: Area-17 is looking for an outgoing, highly organized Office Manager to undertake a variety of designated commissions. The ideal candidate for our Office Manager position is a team player who is effective at collaborating with colleagues, partners and clients but is also self-motivated and able to complete multitasks to deadlines with minimal supervision. The function of this position is to manage the execution and coordination of office daily routine, including but not limited to administration, human resource management, internal accounting and project liaison with Creative Director and the team. Job Description: - Supervise overall admin functions including office supplies purchasing, travel arrangement, pantry maintainance, reception service functions related to admin, security, office equipment leases etc. - Formulate & maintain office policies & procedures according to the Director guideline - Provide support to all departments as per request - Work professionally, hands-on in a small organization - Coordinating with HR related duties and outsourced accounting related matters - Translation of files, emails, interpreting in meetings and business trips - Handle the expatriates' work permit and residence permit renew and application - Following up all the projects and maintain good relationships with the clients and all the suppliers. - Assisting the Director on the simultaneous duties. Requirements: - Bachelor degree in English or administration or relevant majors with at least three years MNC working experience in office administration field. - Excellent communication skills in written & verbal (English and Chinese) - Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills - Ability to work independently and efficiently - Able to work under pressure & excellent team player - Excellent computer skills; MS Office proficiency. Graphic design software skills is an advantage - Intelligent, reliable, patient, sharp, quick, outgoing, personable, and sociable - Nice presentation (dress professionally) - Office administration experience in a multi-cultural MNC environment preferable - Willing to take business trips when needed - Strong common sense is a must About the Studio: Area-17 is an international Architecture and Interiors design studio based in Asia since 2005, specialized in interior design for retail, residential, workspaces, showrooms and F&B.
